Valdora Community Hall
360 Valdora Road, Valdora, QLD 4561
phone: 0414 039 056
Valdora Hall was built in 1940 after several years of fundraising and acquiring a mortgage to pay for its construction. Local cane farmer, Mr A Thorogood donated the land. The Hall has been extended and renovated over the years and boasts a wonderful timber dance floor which was used regularly for many years by the local dance group up till a couple of years ago. The Hall used to be the hub for all local events of the area and was used regularly for weddings, birthday parties, Australia Day get-togethers, Christmas parties etc. The current committee and volunteers are doing their best to bring this community spirit and fun back to the Hall.
